Low Fat vs Low Carbs
Over the past few years a number of research studies have come out in support of the use of low carbohydrate eating patterns over low fat eating patterns for weight loss. One important aspect of this is that you do not need to cut carbs drastically. Instead you should consider reducing your carb intake as a percentage of your total calories. The best time to eat carbs is in the morning and during and after your workout. The other thing to be aware of is when I say carbs, I am talking about starchy carbs like bread and pasta and not vegetables. Vegetables, you should eat throughout the day.
